Dinner Theatre Updates: Entertainment and Volunteers

Parents:

Here is some updated information about the 6th-year Students' Dinner Theatre. As posted before, this event is scheduled for October 27, 6:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington.

ENTERTAINMENT UPDATE:

The three classes of 6th-year students will be presenting three unique and important dramatizations from our American History. The entertainment selections are:

Ms. Bosso's class -- "Pearl Harbor"
Mrs. Lilley's class -- "The Oregon Trail"

and

Mrs. Prescott's class -- "Immigration: Ellis Island"

VOLUNTEER UPDATE:

We need volunteers to set up from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. the night of the program. Volunteers will only need to arrange the floor plan, as the chairs and tables will already be set up in the room we are using. Volunteers will then be asked to help decorate the tops with the simple greenery, cotton, berries and other natural items provided.

In addition to the evening of the event, we will need two (2) volunteers to help set up the stage the day of the play, preferably Thursday morning. The stage is rather HEAVY, so we need two (2) individuals with solid muscles and strong backs for this task.

Thanks,
Margaret
